UNDP – Solar-Powered Water Pumping Systems Project
We are currently implementing a strategic project in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to supply, install, and commission 22 solar-powered water pumping stations across Al Jazirah and White Nile States, Sudan.
The project is designed to enhance access to reliable and sustainable water services by replacing conventional energy sources with clean solar power. Through advanced photovoltaic systems and high-efficiency solar pumps, the project improves operational reliability, reduces energy costs, and ensures the long-term sustainability of water infrastructure serving local communities.
In addition to engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning, the project places strong emphasis on capacity building and knowledge transfer. Comprehensive training programs are being delivered to local engineers, technicians, and operators, equipping them with the technical skills required for system operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and long-term asset management. This approach strengthens local expertise and ensures the sustainable operation of the facilities beyond project completion.
